Cant upload my car to the league set!

-A league member must first get their membership for a league activated.  To do this is very simple, direct your driver to this page:  http://www.simracecar.com/support/2002applyleague.html

-If the driver already did this, see "applied but never approved"

Applied but never approved  (or deleted an approval email)

If a member has applied for membership access to your league, and you never received or deleted the email, simply enter the League Member Administration  and approve him/her manually.

New League Logo

"We have a new league logo and need it changed on the League Sets page."

All you need to do is email the new logo to src2003logoupdate@schillerdesigns.com

Why is my link and logo NOT on the "league sets" page?

We generally wait until we receive a direct email from the league administrator before we put this information up.  To get your league on this page, simply email the src2003newleague@schillerdesigns.com  address and include your leagues logo, the league founder, and the date the league was formed.  Let SimRaceCar.com know that you are beginning to add league paintjobs to your league set, and would like to be added to the "League Sets" page.

Why did SimRaceCar.com NOT approve my league?

-If you did not supply a valid web site address, that is the problem.  Simply email srcwebmaster@schillerdesigns.com  and tell them the league name, and the correct web address.

- It is possible your league did not have above 15 members and or was a racing team.

-You may of already applied for a league with the same name.  Email srcwebmaster@schillerdesigns.com to have them remove your old league of the same name.  You CAN be multiple league administrators for more then one league.

An example of the entire email process is as follows:

Once you are approved by the SimRaceCar.com staff, and receive an email of:

Dear JohnDoe (JohnDoe being your user id you registered):

Congratulations! Your request for a new league called "JDLEAGUE" has been approved. You have been assigned to administer the new league, and all requests to become a member of the league will come to you via e-mail for your approval.

Good luck to you and your new league!

The SimRaceCar Team

Your league has now been accepted, and your members will be ready to upload their cars in to the set.

Each member must be approved before they can upload in to the league set.  We do not want anyone to be able to go in here and upload to your league, so we developed a secure system to prevent this.

Periodically, you will receive emails from your league members requesting approval in to your league at SimRaceCar.com.  Each member must be approved only one time (including you as the league administrator) before they can upload to the league set.

Your league members must go to the "Apply for Paintjob Membership to an Existing League Set" and request membership in to your league.  When they do so, you will receive an email from SimRaceCar.com with each request.

The email will read:

An application for League membership has just arrived. To view the request, please go to the following address:

http://new.simracecar.com/index.php?page=league_member&did=6950&lid=1001.    <-this link may not be exactly like the one you will receive, but it will be similar

You will need to be logged in as the League Administrator to access the request.

You must be logged in to the SimRaceCar.com database using the user id that you requested the league car set for before you can approve any of your league members.  The link in the email will not work, unless you are logged in before you click the email link.

-I then log in as "JohnDoe" and input my password (or my user id and password that I set up the league set with)

-Next, open up the email that I received above and click on the link.

-After clicking on the link, you will be taken to a page which allows you to approve that request in to the league set.

-Simply select Y or N from the drop down menu (Yes or No), and click submit.  After a second or two, this member will now be accepted and cleared to upload in to your league set.  Be sure you double check the user name and information to be sure that this person is a member of your league before accepting them.

-When that particular league member goes to the upload a car section after logging in, they will see your league appear in their drop down list.  If for some reason this page goes back or refreshes back to the approval screen simply just select any other area of the site to leave.  You only need to approve them once.

-From here on out, your league members will now begin to request membership in to your leagues car set.  You will receive emails from them one by one that automatically come from SimRaceCar.com, and then you must approve each member by clicking on the approval link.  Do each member the same way as described above.

-This only has to be done once, for each league driver.  Including You!  Simply apply yourself for membership in to the league also, the same way your drivers do, then accept yourself.  The only time you will have to approve a driver a second time, is if that driver accidentally deleted or took himself out of the league.  Or, the possibility if someone quits a league then rejoins, kicked out, let back in, etc.  Then they would have to re apply.

-The person who requests the League setup is automatically established as the League Administrator here for the car set.  So, be sure that the head man or women of the simulation racing league, is the one setting up the car set at SimRaceCar.com.

-The SimRaceCar.com staff takes care of approving the actual car files that your league members upload.  You only do the approval of gaining access in to your car set for uploading.

-Notify your league members about what they need to do to use the SimRaceCar.com league database, and direct them to the page & instructions labeled "Apply for Paintjob Membership to an Existing League Set" after you set up your league.  There are instructions on the support page for this.

We hope you enjoy the new league car set system.  We sure do.  It works fantastic, and it is very easy to use.

If you are not the League Administrator, have him/her contact SimRaceCar.com, or view this page for information regarding league car set storage.
